The Summer school this year will be held on the following dates as shown below:
MONDAY 1 to THURSDAY 4 AUGUST 2022
RDC PUPILS ARE INVITED ALONG WITH FAMILY MEMBERS (children) AND FRIENDS (children) INCLUDING CHILDREN WHO DO NOT ATTEND THE SCHOOL TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS FUN PACKED FOUR DAYS
Pupils from the aged 15 and under may attend and we will be covering the following styles of dance:
*Modern, Jazz, Street, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Stretch and Flex, Classical Greek along with Acrobatics, Musical Theatre (incorporating song, dance and acting).
*This year other activities will include dressing up, t shirt designing, hair and make-up as well as a picnic.
The theme will be ENCANTO based.
The 4 day event can be attended in full or in part.
The days will run as follows:
Monday 1, Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 August 9.00am to 1.00pm
Thursday 4 August 10.00am to 1.00pm, Picnic 1.00pm to 2.00pm, 2.00pm to 3.30pm show
The fee for Summer School will be as follows:
£60 for the 4 days or £15.00 daily, where a pupil/s cannot attend every day.
We ask that children bring along their own packed lunch, drinks and snacks daily and the school will provide additional snacks and drinks as well as a selection of picnic food on the Thursday.
A small demonstration will be held on the Friday afternoon and can be attended by parents free of charge.
PLEASE NOTE IF YOUR DAUGHTER/SON OR ANY FAMILY MEMBERS OR FRIENDS WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND PLEASE COMPLETE THE ATTACHED FORM AND RETURN ASAP.
We are asking for a £30 non-returnable deposit per pupil to secure a place and the remaining fees will be requested the week prior to the event.
Please note pupils are not required to be experienced in any of the above* but will be required to wear leotards, leggings or sport fitness wear and long hair should be placed up in bun, plaits or ponytail at all times.
