Held on Tuesday afternoons. Fun classes for all which will help with exam work, Festival dances and general knowledge.
New Look Acrobatic Arts
Held on Thursday afternoons and to now be held in our bigger studio, Upper Hall Community Centre. Through the use of our NEW apparatus students can progress through the levels to improve their acrobatic skills. Open to all RDC and NON-RDC pupils.
Past RDC Pupils Ballet, Modern and Contemporary Classes
All are welcome to come along for technique, strengthening, fitness and fun. Meet old and new friends as well as our current seniors. Level intermediate and beyond.
Tiddlers Class
Movement, Music and Singing. Ages 12 months to 3.5 years Accompanied by an adult. Children will have fun and gain skills in co ordination, interaction and communitcation. Use of props to add interest and fun and to assist with balance. Improvisation and theming with reference to colours and numbers to aid with early years learning. Use of instruments to aid early years learning. All welcome to attend.
Pointe Work Class
For invited pupils only. This class has been introduced to prepare students for Pointe work and in time to getting their very first pair of Pointe shoes and beginning their pointe work journey.
Adult/Teen Wall Pilates
Excellent for full body strength and toning at individuals own and safe pace. Suitable for beginners through to experienced. Mats are provided or you can bring your own.
Adult Fun Tap
Suitable for beginners to intermediate levels covering Broadway and Rhythm style tap.
Adult Modern mix Dance Fusion
Incorporating Line dance, Jazz, Musical Theatre and much more.
Adult Ballet
Beginners to intermediate levels.
Boys Boot Jazz Class
Visiting teacher Harry Parkinson ex RDC Pupil and professional dancer/singer. Pupils will be put through their paces for strength, stamina, fun and meeting new friends. Open to all RDC and NON RDC Pupils.
Saturday Toddler Ballet
For children aged 2 – 4 years. With or without accompanying adult (only 1 per child due to space and attention required) Use of imagery and props for co ordination, interaction and communication.
