WINTER TERM CLASSES COMMENCING MONDAY 6 JANUARY 2025
CLASSES FOR OUR VERY YOUNG MEMBERS AS FOLLOWS:
TIDDLER MOVEMENT AND DANCE – Wednesday 9.30 am to 10.15 am commencing 8 January
Delightful class with parent or guardian attending. Music, movement and singing with use of props
and lots of BUBBLES and PLAY. Ages 8 months to 3 years.
Weekly fee £4 per class
TODDLER BALLET AND TAP – Friday 3.45 pm to 4.30 pm commencing 10 January
Lovely class with or without parent or guardian joining in. Music, movement and basic dance skills
with use of props and lots of BUBBLES AND IMAGINATION. Ages 12 months to 3 years.
Weekly fee £4 per class
We invite children to attend our Ballet, Modern and Tap term classes from the age of 3 years and
upwards as follows: (approximate age with flexibility)
TUESDAYS – commencing 7 January from 4.30 pm
FRIDAYS – commencing 10 January from 4.30 pm
SATURDAYS – commencing 11 January from 9.30 am
(Please note older children have a later start, please enquire. Beginner Teenagers wishing to start
dance may attend Saturday afternoons or during the week with adults)
Suggested classes are Tap Tuesdays 7.30 pm, Ballet Tuesdays 7.00 pm, Senior Theatre group 8.00 to 8.30 pm.
OTHER CLASSES FOR CHILDREN INCLUDE
ACROBATIC ARTS NEW CLASS FOR BEGINNERS AND EXPERIENCED. Two separate groups.
THURSDAYS from 4.30 to 5.15 pm – commencing 9 January
Following a training syllabus with internal awards and recognition of progression.
Suitable ages 4 to 12. All welcome. Potential West End inclusion.
£4.50 per class or discounted for those attending a private lesson.
SENIOR MUSICAL THEATRE – THURSDAYS from 8.00 to 8.30 pm – commencing 9 January
For teenagers and adults from age 11 and upwards. Singing, dancing and acting for festival 2025
inclusion. Incorporating the latest West End and Broadway shows and much more. Great fun for the
whole family to attend.
Weekly fee £3.50
JUNIOR MUSICAL THEATRE – SATURDAYS from 11.00 am to 11.45 pm. – commencing 11 January
NEW CLASS FOR FESTIVAL 2025 inclusion and potential West End Performance. Singing ,
dancing and acting. Great for building confidence. Incorporating latest West End and Broadway
shows, TV and Films. Great for the whole family.
Weekly fee £4.
STREET CLASS – To commence later this term
NEW FOR KIDS WHO CURRENTLY ATTEND RDC AS WELL AS THOSE WHO DO NOT.
Great fun and welcoming boys and girls from ages 6 to 14 to this energetic class. Potential inclusion
in West End Performance.

CLASSES FOR ADULTS, RETURNING RDC PUPILS, LATE STARTING TEENAGERS AND THOSE YOUNG
AT HEART
MONDAYS commencing 13 January
NEW AEROBIC FITNESS CLASS FOR ADULTS – from 10 am to 10.45 am. Postern Gate studios
Start the week with a great workout routine to make you feel invigorated after the weekend and
prepared for the week ahead. Wear trainers and bring a towel.

TUESDAYS commencing 7 January
BEGINNERS ADULT/ TEENAGER TAP – from 7.30 to 8.15 pm. Postern Gate studios
For complete beginners and Intermediate. Lots of fun and great exercise for all incorporating
different styles and music.
We also have shoes to borrow so you can come along and try out before buying.

NEW MODERN “ LINE DANCE “ REVIVAL – 8.15 to 9 pm . Rye Community Centre
This brand “NEW” class is danced in the usual line and circle patterns with use of repetition and
without contact. The difference is incorporating the styles of Country, Big-band, Irish, Latin and Pop.
Very different and lots of fun.

WEDNESDAYS commencing 8 January
WALL PILATES for adults and teenagers. This popular class is great for strengthening and toning the
core, glutes and arms. Stretching ham strings and for pelvic placement and improved alignment and
all over body toning. A slower paced exercise class for safety and endurance. Come along and give it
a go you will be surprised.

THURSDAYS commencing 9 January
ADULT MUSICAL THEATRE – Postern Gate 8.00 to 8.30 pm see above
ADULT TAP EXPERIENCED CLASS – Postern Gate 8.30 to 9.15 pm
Suitable Intermediate/Advanced fun class incorporating Broadway and Rhythm styles of tap.
PRIVATE LESSONS are by arrangement with individuals and can be attended by any RDC pupil
including adults. Festival soloists are required to attend a weekly lesson. Please enquire if interested.
SINGING LESSONS
These are by arrangement with individuals and can be solo, duet, trio or quartet. Jo Entwistle is our
singing teacher and normally the lessons are arranged weekly on a Saturday. Anyone wishing to attend separate singing lessons please contact Jo Fletcher (07974110657)
