About the School

Rye Dance Centre provides dancing in the South East. The Dance School offers a high standard of technical and artist training in a friendly and enjoyable environment. With caring, professional and qualified teachers, students can expand their love of dance and theatre either just for fun, or for a future professional career.

All pupils have the opportunity to enter examinations in ISTD ballet, modern, tap and contemporary. We encourage pupils to participate in shows, pantos & performances, with optional festivals to compete with fellow dancers and to socialise.

We give a warm welcome to any new students who would like to come and join us. From 8 months to adults, we welcome anyone beginner or experienced!

Our Studios

Postern Gate

The building, which is situated on Cinque Ports Street., is made up of two different studios. This is the heart of the dance school, with studios fitted with mirrors, ballet barres and professional flooring by Rosco – all sprung. Toilets, changing\waiting area are also in the facility, all equipped with air conditioning for the hotter months.

Rye Community Centre

Situated adjacent to Postern Gate, we have another studio, fitted with mirrors, ballet barres and professional flooring by Harlequin.
